THE LAST DUST BOWL
Commissioned by Hot Hot Hot Magazine, The Last Dust Bowl is the final instalment of 7 years of research on the water crisis in California. Nested in the Owens Valley, a few hours north of Los Angeles, Keeler is a census designated place located on the edge of a dry lake. For more than 70 years, this small town has been the symbol of one of America’s most devasting environmental crisis, called the “Water Wars”. This short documentary compiles testimonials of local citizens that lived through devastating dust storms.
